We created The Well as a special initiative within Living Water Doula Support to help make personalized doula care more accessible to families experiencing financial hardship.

We believe that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to receiving compassionate, continuous support during one of life's most meaningful transitions.

What is The Well? 

The Well provides families with the opportunity to receive a customized doula support package based on their individual needs and circumstances.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all package, we take the time to understand what support would be most meaningful to you. Together, we create a plan that meets your needs while considering what you are realistically able to contribute.

Support may include:

  • Prenatal education and preparation
  • Birth planning and decision-making support
  • Personalized comfort-measures education
  • Partner support and preparation
  • Labor and birth support
  • Postpartum visits and support
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Newborn care education
  • Emotional support and birth processing
  • Virtual support when appropriate
  • Referrals to additional community resources

Complete Your Application

If The Well feels like it may be a good fit for your family, we'll invite you to complete a short application. This helps us better understand your individual needs and circumstances so we can thoughtfully determine how we may be able to support you.

Create Your Plan

Together, we'll build a customized support package based on your needs and circumstances. We'll also discuss an investment that is realistic and accessible for your family.

Be Supported

Once your plan is in place, you'll have a doula walking alongside you—offering compassionate, personalized support throughout your journey.
